Perth Trip :) Day 2

The second day those with the alarm clocks, phones, watches.....woke everyone up at the given time. After washing up and changing, we went to wait outside as the cold was more refreshing. However, the door had trouble locking! :( i tried turning the key here and there but the door remained unlocked. The teachers wanted all the cabins to be locked but it reamained unlocked. My friends had to call friends from other cabins to help. But the door still would not lock. In the end, i found out that the door had not closed properly. I found a method to close the door in completely easily. i had to pull the gate in towards me a little before it would close completely. I thanked those who came to help me and i locked the gate. :)
For breakfast, we had scrambled eggs, baked beans, hashbrowns and fish fillet. We did not take very long to eat finish our food so, while waiting for the rest, we took some pictures and practically laughed our heads off. It was impossible NOT to laugh. :D
The first activity needed us to split into 2 groups. My group named themselves Shabalaba Ding Dong. Shabalaba Ding Dong was actually one of the member's facebook name. ':\ Both of the teams had to make balloons stand by itself, and it had to be higher than the height of the chair. We were given many balloon, tape and  a pair of scissors. In the end, i was not really sure which team had won. ':|
The next activity, was that an egg would be dropped from shoulder height and we had to prevent it from breaking. we built something like a nest to cushion it's fall. In the end, the egg cracked but did not break. :\
After that, our group formed one straight line and wrapped toilet paper around the line. we had to weave in between chairs and collect 4 different bottles, without breaking the toilet paper. It broke a few times, but we just held it together.
The last activity before lunch, they had given us 18 pictures of different places in the farm. We had to find at least 15 of these places and take pictures of them in sequence. So, to make sure that the other team did not finish first, we ran half of the time! In the end, we still won.
Our lunch was a little different this time. The teachers barbecued some sausages and meat. We each ate one big hotdog and some chicken wings. By the end, we were quite full.
The teachers gave us about 15 minutes to go back to our cabins to go to the bathroom and get our stuff as we were going to spend the rest of the day outside. I brought along my jacket, in case it became to cold, and my water bottle. When we gathered at the usual spot, we saw a man with his dog and puppies. He was going to be showing us the sheeep shearing demo today.
It turned out to be a hot day and my hands were full as I had to carry my jacket and bottle. The man's dog was very smart and knew how to herd the sheep. :) After the sheep shearing demo, we got to feed the oupacas and some of the sheep.
We headed to the winery where we had a wine-making talk. We saw how wine was made. :)
We got to feed the horses and then we headed back to our cabins for some rest and a shower. We went to the office at the designated time for dinner. After dinner, we had our campfire night. It was a peaceful night and we got to see the stars. ( There aren't many stars in Singapore.):) And the moon rising as well. ( I didn't know before that the moon can rise.) We roasted some marshmallows as well. :)
Our teachers accompanied us back to our cabin and we did some work and reflections and then we went to sleep. zzzzzzzz...................:)
